Family Affair
Family Affair was created in honor of Lucille Mullet. It's another tool used for communicating by means of postings and comments with other family users. It can be both fun and useful at the same time, so take advantage of this technology and enjoy.

Lisa, the photo needs to be less than 50kb. that is the problem.
what we really need is a chat box. one free option for blogger is located here. http://cbox.ws/?box=1352012
I have one on my blog. it is great just for doing what we have been doing in these posts.
uncle wil, if you need help coding it into the blog, i can do it for you. It is a simple copy and paste.
it would be a neat, easy addition.

Hey gang, thanks to Cousin Matt I installed a cbox to the left of the blog. I think you can do the smiley face thing, but I'm not for sure or maybe other things can be arrange differently on it. It's just your basic cbox so it may be limited.
Keith,
All i have done is add it to my profile? I have no idea how to help.
sorry
my mom is at a wedding in Atlanta.
Lisa and Kieth, glad to hear that the mystery is finally revealed!
off to work!

Well, my computer crashed, and we were off line for a few weeks, but got a new one, and am back on line. Just read all y'all comments, and am glad to be back.
Had a wonderful week, with Wendy and her boyfriend in from Texas, and Joe in from Missouri. Had the whole family together for dinner Weds. night; couldn't ask for anything better. Jeanette - read your message, and am so happy we were able to make it to Mandeville to say "hello."
It was our 45th wedding anniversary yesterday, and Joe surprised me today by taking me out to dinner at a nice restaurant to celebrate. I just want you young people to know that it's never too late to put a little romance in your life. Love, Glo

Wendy called, and told me she is engaged to be married. How wonderful! His name is Robbie Bergerson, and he is a fireman with the Waco Fire Dept. We've gotten to know him this past year, and like him very much. So folks, get ready for another wedding; what a great event to celebrate with friends and family. I think they're shooting for sometime in May 07. Will keep you posted
This Saturday evening I will be headed off to Cameroon for a scouting trip. I hope to come back with some good videos, photos, and insights into how things are going in Africa. I will be back in PA on 12/5, and will probably be back to my normal self by 12/7.
Hope that everyone has a very wondeful holiday today.
Love,
Matt D
Hope we can get back to informing each other what's going on in our lives.
It's 10/8/07 and Wendy was married 5/5/07 and is now expecting a little one 4/21/08. We lost Nanan 4/17/07 after a long bout with respiratory problems. (putting this information in, so it will be recorded.)
Hi folks,
Just thought I would let yall know that we had Wesley in Children's Hospital 11/6/l07 with very low blood platelettes. Thank God it wasn't anything life threatening, but due to his body fighting a staff infection, and attacking the platelettes too, with the medication he was given. They stablelized him, & he went home 11/8/07. He will have to be monitored for at least 6 months at Children's to check the platelettes. Glo
I just wanted to let all of Aunt Nette's family know my prayers are with you. I loved her very much and she will be missed tremendously. Going 'across the lake' on my visits home won't be the same anymore. I always admired her and her take charge demeanor, as it is much like my own. I came across this statement in her previous blog post and felt she was speaking to us all:
'It's not fun growing old. Never take for granted your youth and vigor. Life is fleeting for all of us. Use all your health, strength, & your gifts that God has given to serve Him, and others. Let us never forget that what we do with our life now, will be judged later. '
RIP Aunt Jeanette.... I love you.
Wendy
I truly have lost "my best friend." Jeanette and I were only 2 yrs. apart, and grew up doing everything together. Anyone who really knew her, knows that she did not like to do anything alone. So, from Dumaine St., we walked to Canal St. to go shopping, the Library on Royal St., to get books, Cabrini Playground to do ceramics, etc. It was Net who kept me going, and I loved it! Even though we spent many years apart, the bond we forged as kids has remained in my heart. I thank God, that circumstances brought us together again for the last chapter of her life. I know that nothing is by chance, and to spend Thursdays with her, after her chemo treatments was a special blessing for me. Net, you will always be in my heart. Love, Glo 9/20/08
